August 31st, 2010: 2010-2011 season PDST parent meeting. The meeting will be held at MW pool on Sept. 12th (Sunday) 2010 during the practice. This is a very important meeting for all parents to know how the team is operated and things you need to know such as practices, meets, booster club, and changes from last season to this season. Please ensure your attendance.

3.00PM-3.40PM: Parents from Dev and Nov Groups.
The contents will be the same for both meetings so you can attend either one. Detailed meeting agenda will be announced in an upcoming email to all parents.
August 31st, 2010: 1st testing email was sent out on August 30th, 2010 to all PDST parents who provided email addresses to the team. 2nd (last) testing email will go out to all PDST parents on Sept. 7th, 2010.
August 20th, 2010: 1st PDST Summer Camp is ready to go. Coach's letter to attending swimmers and parents will be sent out on August 21st, 2010. We look forward to seeing you on August 23rd at the pool for the camp.
August 20th, 2010: PDST 2010-2011 season roster is near final. All parents should expect to receive first testing email from email address PDSwimTeam@gmail.com with subject titled "testing" by August 31st, 2010 as the team prepares to start the season. For all incoming PDST families, if you receive this email, no response from you is required. If you do not receive this testing email at the email address(es) you provided to us in the registration form, you need to contact us by sending an email to PDSwimTeam@gmail.com to let us know immediately.
August 20th, 2010: PDST 2010-2011 meet schedule is finalized. The first meet is Oct. 16-17th (Sat-Sun) at Mary Wayte pool. More info to come.

August 2nd, 2010: PDST officially completed its 1st year as an US Swimming affiliated team. PDST coaches and staffs will actively work on its preparation for the upcoming season in August. The team will be back to its 2010-2011 season and open its 1st practice on Sept. 12th, 2010.
August 2nd, 2010: PDST Booster Club, run by our parents, received its IRS approval and will operate as an IRS recognized non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated in support of our swimmers and promote swimming in the community. The date of the recognition is retro-effective as Oct. 15th, 2009.
August 2nd, 2010: Following our Level 1 certification in April, PDST went one step higher as it is awarded as a Level 2 Club in US Swimming Club Recognition Program. This program identifies and recognizes club programs that demonstrate a commitment to long term club growth, development and stability. Clubs must meet markers measuring business and organizational success, parent and volunteer development, coach development and education, and athlete development and performance. Clubs are ranked Level 1 through Level 4.

July 22nd, 2010: PDST swimmers selected into PNS Zone Team
3 PDST swimmers have been selected to represent PNS in the upcoming US Swimming Western Zone Championship meet in August. PNS Zone Team will travel to San Jose, CA to compete in the Zone Champ meet during August 10-14th. Our warmest congratulations to PDST swimmers: Amber Chong, Richard Zhang, and Jeffrey Li. July 1st, 2010: Pacific Dragons Swim Team Summer Camp information.
Your swimmer will have an opportunity to train with PDST coaches during the 2-week camp period. Each day, the workout will start with 30 minutes of planned teaching on body balance, minimize water resistance, stroke, and kicks techniques in water. Through the teaching, swimmer will gain the knowledge of efficiency in all strokes and understand how to minimize the water resistance. Than, based on swimmer’s technical level, the camp will be likely divided into 2 groups with an one hour practice drill focusing on using newly learned techniques. June 9th, 2010: PDST End of the Season Party hosted by PDST Booster Club. PDST families and the friends and relatives of PDST are welcome to join. Date: 6/12/2010 Time: 4:00- 7:00pm Place: Grass Lawn Park in Redmond Address: 7031 148 Ave NE, Redmond WA 98052.
May 28th, 2010: Today, PDST sent out its "intent to return form for 2010-2011 season" to current PDST families. In the form, Head Coach PeiYong Li summarized PDST's progress through the year and its amazing achievements. "Our swimmers have participated in all levels of PNS meets and the Northwest Sectional Champ meet. In the PNS 14 and Under Age Group Short Course Champ meet held on Dec. 2009, our swimmers captured one 1st, two 2nd, and a couple of top 16 finishes. Later in March 10 at NW Age Group Sectional Champ meet, our swimmers were also placed into top 8 finishers. Better yet, we have our first Western Zone time qualifier and we are looking forward to the opportunity for a PDST swimmer to represent PNS in the US Swimming Western Zone Champ meet in August." Coach Li said in his letter addressed to all PDST families. The team is expecting to complete the advanced registration for the returning swimmers by June 15th and then the remaining open roster space will be opened up to public. For current PDST swimmer/family, you should have received the intent to return form in the email today, be sure to hand in the form before June 6th to the team or the coach in order to proceed to the advanced registration on June 13th, 2010.

April 2nd, 2010: PDST participated NW Age Group Sectional meet at KCAC during March 19th-21st and it had 4 top 8 finishes and one Western Zone qualifier. Congratulations to our Sectional swimmers and the excellent showing at the meet.
Sept. 30th, 2009: Requested from US Swiming and PNS, we are required to comply with the recent law that requires this form with both signatures be on file before the athlete is allowed to practice or compete. We are requesting the form to be signed by both the parent and the swimmer before 3PM, Oct. 18th 2009 (Sunday) and drop in at our team drop box at Mary Wayte pool. Failure to turn this form in will result in your swimmer being barred from attending the practice (per US Swimming instruction). Sept. 7th 2009:Thank all parents, and our swimmers to attend our 1st all-member team meeting on Sept 6th, 2009. We had a successful tour of each facility at the end of the meeting with our parents and swimmers.
All groups will start practice on Tuesday, Sept 8th, either at SC or MSC pool. Please take enough time to arrive and check in at the Front Desk to identify you as PDST swimmer before entering each club.

Our team is officially approved by Pacific Northwest Swimming (PNS) and USA Swimming. We will be a new USA Swimming based swim team starting Sept. 1st 2009. Congratulations to our team and special thanks to PNS and USA Swimming for their support.
